(CTPAT) Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism
Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) is one layer in U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) multi-layered cargo enforcement strategy. Through this program, CBP works with the trade community to strengthen international supply chains and improve U.S. border security. CTPAT members are considered to be at low risk, and are therefore less likely to be examined at a U.S. port of entry.

The Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Program develops safety standards and regulations, provides risk-based oversight and gives expert advice on dangerous goods to promote public safety in the transportation of dangerous goods by all modes of transport regulated by Transport Canada.
There are nine classifications of dangerous goods that identify the type of danger each possesses. You are responsible for correctly identifying, classifying, packaging, marking, labelling and completing documentation for dangerous goods according to national and international governmental regulations. The government requires you to have job-specific training before offering a dangerous goods shipment
